Radial Line Slot Antenna Design Guide
Radial Line Slot Antenna Design For Cars
Recently a radial line slot antenna array has been demonstrated to have high gain and efficiency at 60 GHz. In this paper, the design, fabrication and characterization of a V-Band (50-75 GHz), cavity backed, circular aperture antenna with suspended substrate stripline (SSS) feed is presented. Abstract—This paper shows the design of a radial line slot antenna for Space Debris Radar Applications. The monopulse antenna has two beams, sum and difference, and requires an amplitude and phase receiver for detection of the azimuth and elevation direction of arrival. The antenna is circular polarized. Radial line slot antennas fed by this transformer are designed and fabricated at 5.8 GHz band and 28 GHz band. The antennas have rotational symmetry both in the near-field distribution and the radiation pattern.
